The Voting feature is controlled through the Entry Editor's Assembler feature. You can turn it on via the gear icon located in the top-right corner of Assembler or by clicking on Assembler > Voting.
Enable upvoting/downvoting
If enabled, each particle can receive 2 types of voting: upvoting (favorable) or downvoting(against).

If not enabled, each particle becomes an option to be selected. In the live version of the post, a Submit button will be added for the end-users to confirm their choice.
